Written before Lee was a counselor, this book is a project God put on Lee's heart to compile true stories from real people, most of whom live in Northern Colorado! Due to some mature themes like death, this book may not be appropriate for young children. If you are wondering if God still works miracles, this is the book for you! In Genuine Miracles, Lee especially focuses on God's love for each individual. This book is a great faith booster for those who doubt (which — let's be honest — is all of us at times).
Lee had the opportunity to deliver a sermon at Ascent Project Church, where he preached about God's call to care for the most vulnerable people in our society, especially through foster care and adoption. While he referenced several scriptures, the parable of the good Samaritan was central to his message. Spoiler alert: you'll never forget his Mickey Mouse impression!
Lee was invited to preach at Timberline Windsor for their Orphan Care Sunday. This message incorporates insights Lee has gained from counseling and from work in the foster system to share the "Parable of the Four Knives," an analogy Lee uses to discuss issues of spiritual maturity and health in Christ.
